Best white wine for mulling
Made from aromatic grape varieties such as Torrontes, Muscat or Gewürztraminer wines can be used. In this case, the drink will turn out to be rich and flavored. For calmer options Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Albarino suit quite well.
- Dry white wine — 750 ml
- Cinnamon — 3 sticks
- Orange — 1 pc.
- Lemon — 1 pc.
- Cloves — 5 pc.
- Sugar — 2 tbs.

How to make white mulled wine
Step 1. Wash and slice the orange and lemon. Remember to spare a few slices for decoration.
Step 2. Add wine, pieces of fruit, cinnamon, cloves, sugar and star anise to the pan.
Step 3. Heat the drink over low heat for about 45 minutes. It is important not to boil the wine, otherwise, the alcohol will evaporate. Stir the mixture periodically. Before serving, try the mulled wine and add more sugar to taste.
Step 4. Serve warm white wine in mags or thick-walled glasses. Garnish with a slice of half orange or lemon.
