Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese (preferably homemade)  —  0.5 kg.
  • Milk  — 1 cup (200 ml.)
  • Eggs  — 2 pcs.
  • Sugar 3 tbs.
  • Semolina  —  4 tbs.
  • Butter  —  1 tsp.
  • Salt, vanilla   — to taste

How to make cottage cheese casserole

  1. Separately, beat the eggs with sugar. Then add milk and vanilla to them and stir thoroughly.
  2. Put the cottage cheese in a deep bowl. Add semolina and a mixture of eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla to the cottage cheese.
  3. When you want, add raisins or prunes.
  4. Mix everything thoroughly. Ideally, use a blender. 
  5. Grease the heated mold with butter and pour the curd mass into it.
  6. Put the mold in the oven, preheated to 180 °C (356 °F)  for 45 minutes.
  7. When the egg casserole with cottage cheese is cooked, remove the mold from the oven and let it cool down to room temperature.
  8. Serve with condensed milk, sour cream or jam.
