One-pot buri daikon or sea bass with daikon and ginger combines the flavors tasty fish with a savory-sweet soy-based sauce for a delightful Asian-inspired dish. It does copy buri daikon, but it is also tasty, hearty and help you to feel warmness in winter.

Ingredients for One-pot Buri Daikon
- 2 pieces of red sea bass — about 600 g.
- Daikon — 600 g.
- Ginger— 30 g.
- Water — 400 ml.
- White wine — 9 tbsp.
- Sugar — 2 tsp
- Soy sauce — 9 tbsp.
- Sugar — 2 tbsp.
How to Make One-pot Buri Daikon
Step 1. Start by preparing the sea bass. Clean and scale the fish. Cut into medium pieces.
Step 2. Peel and slice the daikon like potato for soup. Caution: If you cook this recipe like this after cooking you need to throw daikon. It will not be enough tender and soft. But you will have wonderful broth. May be it would be better to grate it or cut into thin strips.
Step 3. Peel and slice the ginger into thin strips or julienne.
Step 4. In a deep, heatproof pots that can fit inside your oven , place the sliced daikon see bass and ginger.
Step 5. In a small saucepan, combine the water, white wine, sugar, soy sauce and water. Heat this mixture over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. This will be your steaming liquid. You also may add all these ingredients separately.
Step 6. Place the pot in the oven for 30 minutes for 200°C (392°F).
Food and Drink Paring
Serve your buri daikon hot, garnished with fresh cilantro or green onions if desired. Your homemade buri daikon is ready. White dry wine would be a nice part for this seafood dinner. Enjoy your delicious and healthy meal!
