  • Onion – 100 g.
  • Tomato paste – 2 tbs. (dilute it with 200 ml water)

How to Make Chicken Breast with Beets

Step 1. Season the chicken breast with spices and place it in a baking dish. Pour a little vegetable oil (such as olive oil), evenly distributing it in the dish. Cover the dish with foil or a lid. Bake the chicken breast in the oven at 200 °C (392 °F)  for 40 minutes.

Step 2. Grate carrots and beets. Heat a couple of tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Add the grated vegetables, salt, and black ground pepper. Sauté them for 3 minutes. Then add the tomato paste and simmer everything together for 5 minutes.

Step 3. When the chicken breast is baked and cooled, cut it into portions and serve it with the onion and beet sauce.
