Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 egg
  • 4 pieces of yesterday bread
  • 30 g. of cheese
  • 2 sausages
  • 2 tbs. of olive oil
  • 60 g. of butter
  • 1 tsp of flour

How to Make Hot Canapes With Cheese and Sausages

Step 1. Start with peeling onion, Cut into half rings or smaller.

Step 2. Pour two tablespoon of olive oil on the pan. Make it hot than add onion half rings. Start frying.  Add 1 teaspoon of flour. Mix well and continue fraying till light golden brown color.

Step 3. Next grate cheese, and dice two sausages.

Step 4. Remove fried onion and add one egg. Then add cheese and sausages. Mix well.

Step 5. Slice four pieces of bread.

Step 6. Prepare the oven grate.

Step 7. Start spreading butter on the one side of the bread. Place butter side on the grate. On the other side place onion and cheesy mixture.

Step 8. Turn on the oven. It s should be hot while placing future canapes. Bake about 10 minutes, while the temperature is 180°C = 356°F. I like to eat them hot.

Food and Drink Serving

 It is great to eat these hot canapes with cheese and sausages with a cup of morning coffee or some fresh juice. I also eat them with puree of fried potatoes.  You can cook them as a quick meal when you do not have time for cooking. The bread can be white or black. I prefer yesterday bread for these canapes.
