Ingredients

  • Sour cream — 200 g.
  • Sugar — 180 g.
  • Cottage cheese — 200 g.
  • Chicken eggs — 5 pcs.
  • Wheat flour — 250 gr
  • Vanilla sugar — 1 tsp.
  • Baking powder — 1 tsp.
  • Cinnamon — to taste
  • Nutmeg — to taste

How to make cottage cheese waffles

Step 1. Prepare the ingredients. The sour cream must be taken out of the fridge to warm a little bit . Take cottage cheese moderately dry. Choose the fat content to your taste.

Step 2. It is advisable to cook the dough with a mixer. In a deep bowl combine the sour cream, sugar and vanilla sugar. Using a mixer at high speeds, mix everything thoroughly.

Step 3. Add cottage cheese to the sour cream mixture. And whisk everything well again. If you have coarse-grained cottage cheese, it is better to wipe it through a fine sieve beforehand.

Step 4. Add eggs to cinnamon and nutmeg.

Step 5. Now pour in the dry ingredients. Sift starch, flour and baking powder together and add to the dough in parts. Mix the dough with a fork or beat it with a mixer.

Step 6. Heat the waffle iron well. I do not lubricate the plates because there is a lot of oil in this test. But if you are worried it will stick, lightly grease the leaves with oil once. Spread 1 tablespoon of dough on the heated moulds. Bake the waffles for 5-7 minutes, but be sure to focus on your waffle iron, since they all have different capacities.
