Ingredients

  • Goat curd cottage cheese – 450 g
  • Egg — 4 pcs.
  • Salt — 1 pinch
  • Sugar — 150 g.
  • Vanillin — 3 g.
  • Butter — 20 g.
  • Potato starch — 3 tbsp.
  • Sour cream 20% for serving — 1 tsp.

How to Goat Curd Cottage Cheese Casserole

Step 1. In a bowl put cottage cheese, add salt, sugar and vanillin, beat the eggs.

Step 2. Add starch and mix with a spatula or whisk.

Step 3. The mixture should be medium thick.

Step 4. If you use a ceramic mold, you don’t need to oil it. I used a metal one and used 20 g of oil.  Place the curd mixture in the mold and smooth it out.

Step 5. Put it in a cold oven. Bake goat curd casserole in the oven at 140-150°C (300°F) for about 30-40 minutes. Do not increase the temperature or the casserole will burn on top and not bake inside.

Step 6. When baking, the casserole will rise a lot, but then it will drop to the original level.

Step 7. Done. Serve the casserole warm or cold. When serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar. You can pour sour cream or condensed milk, add berries, fruit or jam.
