When it was release of Sumeru in Genshin Impact new cooking recipes appears in the game. Being a devoted fan of this Chinese story, I began to imagine how some dishes would be cooked in our reality. I decided to start with butter chicken Genshin recipe. This dish does not belong to Indian cuisine, the closest analogy to the recipe is Georgian chicken Chkmeruli.
Do not judge me severely. It is just my cooking imagination. You can also cook this chicken for any holiday like Christmas or Birthday or do not wait holidays just cook it for two.
- Chicken — 600-800 grams.
- Cream 20% — 200 ml.
- Butter — 50 g.
- Hot pepper — 1 pc.
- Garlic — 1 head
- Salt, black pepper, spices you like (you may add Georgian traditional spices like Khmeli suneli to cook chicken Chkmeruli).
Butter chicken recipe instruction
- Washed and dry the chicken with napkins, remove excess parts of skin and fat. With a sharp knife, cut the carcass in the center of the breast bone. Remove the giblets, if any occurs. Arrange the carcass as in the picture.
Rub with salt, pepper, favorite spices. Fry the chicken in a large frying pan.
2. The butter should melt completely in the pan. Place the chicken back down on the preheated oil, and put a heavy container on top. The chicken should be fried in this position for up to 8 minutes, until golden brown.
3. Turn the bird carcass over and repeat step 2. After 7-8 minutes, the heavy load can be removed and continue to fry the carcass until ready. Turned the chicken over for even roasting. A sign of the readiness of the meat will be the absence of pink juice, if you cut breast or leg. In the sauce it stews for a very short time. At this stage the meat should be almost cooked.
4. In the same oil fry the chopped garlic and chili pepper. Cooking time is 4 minutes.
5. Pour the cream into the pan and add half a glass of water. Add salt and black ground pepper to the sauce, add your favorite spices. Bring the sauce to a boil. Turn off the burner after 2 minutes.
6. Place the chicken into a baking dish. Pour the sauce on the top. Put everything in the oven. Cover with a transparent lid and turn of the lid. It is necessary that the chicken is soaked in boiling sauce for five minutes. The temperature should be 100°C (212 °F). Then it can be served to the table with a glass of delicious wine.
