Lavender and honey

Placing this recipe here, I had to pay attention to several facts about lavender honey. It is a first-class high-quality product. Bees gather it from April to August. Lavender honey has absorbed a pleasant floral aroma of lavender, a nice medium sweet taste, herbal notes and medicinal benefits of honey as a product. In cooking it works perfectly with hot drinks and desserts. Be careful! Lavender honey should not be given to children under three years and people with allergies.

There are two varieties of lavender honey

Monofloral type (lavender blossom honey) collected only from lavender fields, with a very small percentage of other impurities. Such a product is highly valued, but it is more difficult to find it.

Lavender infused honey is a cheaper product in which a little lavender is added for the smell, which means that it contains a small percentage of the desired plant. Such a product has a lower value, even considered a fake.

Calorie content of natural lavender honey: 100 grams of the product contains 316 kcal: about 38 kcal in 1 teaspoon and 110 kcal in the table spoon.
