
How about some delicious stewed duck with mashed potato? Here is how to cook it!

Ingredients
- Potatoes — 700 g.
- Duck leg Quarters (preferably with skin) — 2 pc. (600 g.)
- Onion — 400 g
- Carrots — 200 g.
- Garlic cloves — 20 g
- Chili pepper — to taste
- Sour cream — 100 ml.
- Butter — 50 g.
- Egg — 1 pc.
- Vegetable oil — 60 g.
- Chicken seasoning blend — 1 tbs.
- Salt, freshly ground black pepper, dill and parsley to taste

How to cook stewed duck with mashed potato
Step 1. First, cut each duck thigh fillet in half and season with salt and pepper. Then peel and chop up onions, carrots, and garlic. Also peel potatoes and boil them until they are nice and soft. Once they are ready, mash them up with some butter and an egg.

Step 2. Now, in a large saucepan, fry the duck until it is got a lovely golden crust. Then fry up the onions and garlic with some oil, salt, and add chicken seasoning blend.

Step 3. Next add 400 ml of water, mix everything together, and let it simmer for about ten minutes. Finally, add the duck back with chili pepper all simmer together for another 1.5 -2 hr. Add sour cream, chopped dill and parlsley. Than simmer 5 minutes more.

Step 4. The delicious stewed duck with mashed potato is ready! If you do not have a ready-made chicken seasoning blend, just mix up in a small bowl some coriander, cumin, allspice, and cinnamon and it will be just as tasty. Enjoy your meal!
