Sweet cheese fritters, also known as cheese beignets or cheese donuts, are a beloved dish that can be found in various cuisines around the world. This irresistible creation typically features a dough or batter infused with cheese, deep-fried to perfection, and then dusted with a sprinkle of powdered sugar or drizzled with a luscious syrup, jam or sour cream. To make the process easier I decided not to fry but bake them.
