
Pumpkin gives these meatballs an incredible flavor! Lean beef meatballs with shredded butternut cutlets are perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner unless you need to change the side dish. They are juicy, soft and lush. You can buy ground meat or a nice piece of beef.

Ingredients
- Ground beef – 700 g.
- Onion – 2 pcs.
- Pumpkin – 150 g.
- Chicken egg – 2 pcs.
- Crumb crackers – 50 g.
- Salt and pepper to taste.

How to make lean beef meatballs with shredded butternut
Step 1. Add finely chopped onion,

grated pumpkin,

eggs, salt, pepper, crumb creckers to the minced meat

and mix everything.
Step 2. If necessary, add 50 ml of water to make the meat and vegetable mix easier for cooking. In this case meatballs will keep form while steaming.

Step 3. Grease with vegetable oil the surface of the bowl on which the cutlets will be steamed.
Step 4. Make medium-sized cutlets and put them in a steamer. Steame lean ground beef meatballs for about 30 minutes.

Homemade steamed cutlets are ready.

You can substitute shredded butternut with apple and cook beef meatballs according to another recipe. Serve it with potato or any other side dish.
