
Chicken oats soup is a light, fragrant and healthy dish. The recipe does not require many efforts. There is no need to cook fry onion and carrot. Although the frying chopped vegetables can be added to the soup to make the meal more caloric. You can also substitute chicken meat with turkey.

- Chicken — 400 g.
- Potatoes — 4 pcs.
- Onion — 1 pc.
- Oatmeal — 3 tbs.
- Dill — 30 g.
- Peppercorns — to taste
- Salt — to taste
- Bay leaf — 1 pc.

How to make chicken oats soup
Step 1. So, take water, chicken (I took two chicken thighs), potatoes, salt, onions, oat flakes, dill, ground black pepper and bay leaf.

Step 2. Put the chicken to cook. Remove the first foam from the meat, and drain the water. Then pour new water in a saucepan and continue the cooking process. This way, the broth will turn out to be less caloric.
Step 3. After about 15 minutes, you can add chopped potatoes with carrots. After boiling for five minutes, add the onion.

Step 4. Continue cooking for 10 minutes; before the end of cooking, add oatmeal, dill, peppercorns and bay leaf. At the end of cooking, remove the onion. It gave enough flavor and taste to the soup.
