- Beet 300
- Sour apple — 1 pc.
- Walnut — 100 g.

How to cook beet and apple salad
Step 1. To begin with, boil the beets. It is better to do this beforehand since the process takes 1-2 hours. Wash beetroot thoroughly, put in a saucepan, pour cold water and bring to a boil. Cover the pan with a lid and reduce the heat to a minimum. Cook for about an hour, maybe more if the beetroot is big.
Step 2. Check the readiness with a fork. When the beetroot is easily pierced, it is ready. Take out the beet and cool it under running water. The cooled beet is peeled and cut into thin dices or straws
Step 3. Apples are washed and peeled from the core; the peel can be left. Cut apples in the same way as beets. Then chop the nuts, and add to the salad. Mix all the ingredients in a deep bowl.
